Some windscreens are simply beyond repair! One of our on-road glaziers snapped this pic before replacing the windscreen.
Up close it looks like a regular stone chip but this smash actually spans around 200mm or 20 cm!
Look closely and you’ll see the drivers rear-vision mirror in behind the break and it will give you an idea of the size of the impact.
The central impact left behind looks much like the size of a baseball or a baseball bat end!
Either way the windscreen needed to be replaced before it falls in completely.
